The Browse Installs window is the main window in the system. This is where you would primarily be working with your software information. It can show you different views of the data that you have entered or imported into the program. The view is controlled by the tabs to the left.

The first one, Install Groups, shows a tree which arranges the data by Install group, then by Product and finally by Install. All the data is shown in alphabetical order based on group name, product name and install name.

The second view, Producers, shows a tree which arranges the data by Producer, then Product and Install.

When you select an Install in the tree on the left, the tree on the right is updated with the relevant information for the selected Install. The right hand tree also has active links to websites, emails and download URLs that are shown as blue underlined links in the tree. Double click on the links to open the links in your browser or email program.

If you right click on the Install file entry in the right hand tree, you will get a popup menu where you can either run the file or show the File Properties for it.


Click the New to create a new Install. This will bring up the Update Install window where you can enter the information about the new install. If you click on the My Setups node at the top of the tree and then click the New button, the Update Install Groups window will come up where you can create a new Install Group

Click the Edit button to modify the selected Install. This will bring up the Update Installs window where you can modify the information about the install. If you have selected an Install Group in the tree on the left, the Edit button will call the Update Install Groups window.

Click the Delete button to delete the selected Install. If you have selected an Install Group in the tree on the left, the Delete button will delete the Install group.

Click the Check button to check the Installs.

Click the Copy button to copy a product or an install

Click the Web Search button to search the web for product, producer or install, or go to producer website.

Click the Close button to close the window.
