Welcome to Vordur. Vordur is designed to help you to store and safekeep information about your software installations. It helps you to keep track of all the various information that is needed for each install.

Vordur will store information about...

·The location of the file on your computer or network or information about software on CD/DVDs
·Download path if the software was downloaded
·Website login information that are needed to download the software again
·Installation passwords
·Serial numbers
·Owner of the software
·Producer information of the software, such as Company name, internet URL, support email, phone number, fax number
·Version information from the installation file itself (only for .exe installs, does not apply to zipped files)
·Detailed description of the software
·Any amount of additional information.

How to get the information into Vordur?

·You can import install file information directly into Vordur. That only applies to information that can be extracted from the file itself, such as version information, location on your computer etc.
·Information about website login information, serial numbers, etc. needs to be entered into the software. Importing the file information saves you a lot of time.
·You can enter all the information from scratch if you like.
·You can also use the program to keep track of software distributed on CD/DVDs. Then simply type in a name for the CD or some other identification into the filename field.
