Vordur can organize installs into Install Groups. This can come in very handy if you have a lot of different installation files. Vordur comes with one group setup, called Default Group.
For programmers like us, the Install Groups could for example contain a list of:
Development Tools
Third party add-ons
Reporting Tools
Web development Tools
Deployment Tools
.NET Tools
Project Planners
Image Editors
Video and Audio Recorders
Each group can contain any number of installs. This makes it easy to find the install you are looking for. Clicking the New or Edit buttons brings up a form where you can enter the information for the group. The "Default group" is created automatically by the program when it is installed. You could create a "Import Group" to import installs to and then move them to other groups as you organize your installs.
You need to have at least one Install Group in this list
The Install Group only contains a Group Name and Comments. You can use any name you want to use for the Group, and you can change it later if you want to, without breaking anything.
You can also access the Install Groups list by clicking the "Install Groups" button on the toolbar.
