Owners Top  Previous  Next    The Owners window is where you can create owners of software. Normally this would be you and in fact the program will use the name that was used during the installation process to add as an owner to start with, so there are good chances that the name in the list is your name! You can add any number of owners. For example if you are using this at home and your spouse is the registered owner of some of your software, then you should add your spouse to the list of owners. That way you can both have your own software without getting the registrations mixed up. If you click on the New button you can create a new owner. If there is a name in the Owner Name list, then you can click the Edit button to change the owner information. You can also use the Delete button to remove the owner from the list. Please note that because of data integrity restrictions, you can not delete an owner with installation information attached to him or her. This is to prevent that data is accidentally deleted. You need to have at least one name in this list. Clicking the New or Edit buttons brings up a form where you can enter the information for the owner. The information you can enter is name, position, phone number and an optional picture path if you want to add a picture. If there is no name in the list, add your own name to it. When the program is installed, it will use the information that you entered during the install process to create a single owner. You can also access the Owners list by clicking on the "Owners" button on the toolbar.
