Quick Setup Top  Previous  Next    The Quick Setup window gives you a quick way to set up everything that can be set up for Vordur. On the left of the window are 4 buttons that let you set the various options for the program. Click the Close button to close the window. Program Setup Owners Groups Producers Program Setup Wallpaper Setting Select Wallpaper image file is used to select a wallpaper for the program. Click the select button to the right of the field to select an image. Any .BMP, .JPG or .GIF image can be used. Even though BMP images are generally big, they are usually fastest to load. You can download a free wallpaper package with 20 images from Iceland. They are provided in 1280x960 pixel size and 24bit colors (16 million full color depth), except two that are provided in 1600x1200 pixel size. Resolution in all the images is 72dpi. Stretched/Centered/Tiled applies to how the wallpaper will be handled in the program. Generally Centered works best. It gives you a distortion free image, while Stretch will distort the image to fit into the main program window. Tiled generally works best with small images that are made specifially to be tiled. Many website backgrounds are specifially designed to be tiled. Check Installs when opening Install Browse will make Vordur check each install every time you open the Install browse window. This option is checked by default. Check Local Installs Only is only available if "Check Installs when opening Install Browse" is checked. When checked, Vordur will only check installs that are known to be on one of the local drives on your computer. If it is unchecked, Vordur will check all installs. On a network this can be quite time consuming. This option is checked by default. Open Install Browse when program starts when checked will open the Install browse when the program starts. This option is checked by default. If you make any changes on the Setup part of the window, you will be asked if you want to save the changes when you click the Close button. Please note that changes to any of the other sections (Owners, Groups, Producers) are automatically saved. Owners The Owners option shows a list of owners that are registered in Vordur. Click the New to create a new owner. This will bring up the Update Owner window where you can enter the information about the new owner. Click the Edit button to modify the selected Owner. This will bring up the Update Owner window where you can modify the information about the owner. Click the Delete button to delete the selected Owner. Groups The Groups option shows a list of Install Groups that have been entered into Vordur. Click the New to create a new Install Group. This will bring up the Update Install Groups window where you can enter the information about the new Install Group. Click the Edit button to modify the selected Install Group. This will bring up the Update Install Groups window where you can modify the information about the Install Group. Click the Delete button to delete the selected Install Group. Producers The Producers option shows a list of Producers that have been entered into Vordur. Click the New to create a new Producer. This will bring up the Update Producers window where you can enter the information about the new Producer. Click the Edit button to modify the selected Producer. This will bring up the Update Producers window where you can modify the information about the Producer. Click the Delete button to delete the selected Producer.
